  ALL SAINTS CELEBRATED IN OCTOBER Saints celebrated on the 21st of October WELCOME! SAINT ODILIA, SISTER OF SAINT DORIA Saint Odilia (October 21), a virgin and daughter of Eulalia, a sister of Saint Doria¹, was one of the  companions of Saint Ursula . (IX. 206) (Information from  Stadler 's Complete Encyclopedia of Saints,  Volume  4, Augsburg, 1875, p. 606) ¹It is an undoubted fact that a large group of virgins (11,000 must be regarded as a round number and must not be overestimated) suffered martyrdom at Cologne by heathen barbarians. There is evidence that the veneration of these holy virgin martyrs existed there as early as the 5th century. SAINT OTHILIA, VIRGIN AND PRINCESS - 21 OCTOBER

  ALL SAINTS CELEBRATED IN OCTOBER Saints celebrated on the 21st of October WELCOME! SAINT OTHILIA, VIRGIN AND PRINCESS Saint Othilia (Odilia), a virgin and granddaughter of King Ivan, is listed in the register of virgins and martyrs surrounding  Saint Ursula . She is not the same person as Saint Odilia . The Bollandists * mention this Saint Odilia on January 29 (among the Praetermissi - Jan. II. 917 ), and add that a translation of her relics is commemorated at Hui in Belgium on July 18 .
