SAINT CTESIPHON, BISHOP OF VERGIO - 1 APRIL

ALL SAINTS CELEBRATED IN APRIL Saints celebrated on the 1st of April SAINT CTESIPHON, BISHOP OF VERGIO Saint Ctesiphon was a first century Bishop of Vergio (Vergium). Together with some others he had been ordained by the apostles at Rome and sent by them to proclaim the gospel in Spain. April 1 is his individual feast day. On May 15, the Bollandists *, too, elaborate on the arrival of these bishop missionaries in Spain (see Torquatus).
