  ALL SAINTS CELEBRATED IN APRIL Saints celebrated on the 12th of April WELCOME! BLESSED ELIAS, ABBOT Blessed Elias (Helias), commemorated on April 12, was an abbot of Cologne. A native of Scotland (according to Trithemius ), Elias came to Germany and headed the two monasteries of St Pantaleon and St Martin in Cologne. Bucelin *, who calls him Helias in his text, states that he flourished in 1030. According to Lechner *, Elias went to his eternal reward in 1041.
