SAINT MARO AND COMPANIONS, MARTYRS - 15 APRIL

ALL SAINTS CELEBRATED IN APRIL Saints celebrated on the 15th of April SAINT MARO AND COMPANIONS, MARTYRS Today, we also commemorate Saints Maro and Companions. The Roman Martyrology states:  "The same day, the holy martyrs Maro, Eutyches, and Victorinus, who, with blessed Flavia Domitilla, were banished to the island of Pontia for the confession of Christ. Being recalled in the reign of Nerva, and having converted many to the faith, they were put to death in different manners by the judge Valerian during the persecution of Trajan." PRAYER: Grant to your Church, we beseech you, O Lord, through the intercession of your holy martyrs Maro, Eutyches, Victorinus, and Flavia Domitilla, not to think high-mindedly, but to grow in humility pleasing to you; that, despising what is base, she may with unbounded love diligently do whatever is right. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen.
