SAINT CONGELLUS, ABBOT - 23 NOVEMBER

  ALL SAINTS CELEBRATED IN NOVEMBER Saints celebrated on the 23rd of November SAINT CONGELLUS, ABBOT  Saint Congellus, an abbot at Benchor [Bangor] Abbey in Ireland, was an excellent promoter of monastic life (in the Life of  St Malachy he is called the father of many monks). He died in A D. 600. He may be listed in a second entry under a different name. (Buc.)
