ST GAETANO ERRICO, PRIEST AND FOUNDER - 29 OCTOBER

ALL SAINTS CELEBRATED IN OCTOBER Saints celebrated on the 29th of October WELCOME! SAINT GAETANO ERRICO, PRIEST AND FOUNDER   Gaetano Errico was born October 19, 1791 to devout and hardworking parents whose income was modest but sufficient for him to study for the priesthood in Naples. Her parents Maria Teresa and Ruggero Badano, a lorry driver, had wished for a child for more than ten years, when Chiara was born on October 29, 1971. When Chiara was at school, she came in contact with the Focolare Movement, founded by Chiara Lubich , which changed her life. Since then, Chiara used to say, "I must give Jesus with my conduct." She planned to join the missions.  Chiara was diagnosed with a malignant bone tumour at the age of seventeen. She abandoned herself and the illness gradually became marginal for her, living it in Jesus. She would have required morphine for her pain, but she refused it.  She also wrote to Chiara Lubich , informing her of the decision to stop chemotherapy: "Only God can. The back pain due to the two surgeries and the immobility in bed have increased... Tonight m...
