  ALL SAINTS CELEBRATED IN DECEMBER Saints celebrated on the 7th of December   Prayer to the Angels and the Saints Heavenly Father, in praising Your Angels and Saints we praise Your glory, for by honouring them we honour You, their Creator. Their splendour shows us Your greatness, which infinitely surpasses that of all creation. In Your loving providence, You saw fit to send Your Angels to watch over us. Grant that we may always be under their protection and one day enjoy their company in heaven. Heavenly Father, You are glorified in Your Saints, for their glory is the crowning of Your gifts. You provide an example for us by their lives on earth, You give us their friendship by our communion with them, You grant us strength and protection through their prayer for the Church, and You spur us on to victory over evil and the prize of eternal glory by this great company of witnesses. ST FARA, ABBESS - 7 DECEMBER

ALL SAINTS CELEBRATED IN DECEMBER Saints celebrated on the 7th of December   WELCOME! SAINT FARA, VIRGIN AND ABBESS Agneric, one of the principal officers of the court of Theodebert II. king of Austrasia, had by his wife Leodegonda, four children: St Cagnoald, who took the monastic habit under St Columban at Luxeu [Luxeuil], about the year 594; St Faro , who became bishop of Meaux; St Fara, and Agnetrudis.  In 610 ,  St Columban being banished from Luxeuil, in his flight lodged at the house of Agneric, called Pipimisium, two leagues from Meaux.   ALL SAINTS CELEBRATED IN DECEMBER   Saints celebrated on the 7th of December WELCOME! SAINT AMBROSE OF MILAN, BISHOP AND DOCTOR OF THE CHURCH ⬅️ Doctors of the Church - Complete List Saint Ambrose was born about 339, at Trier, practised in the Roman law-courts and was appointed to office in Milan. He was elected Bishop of Milan by the laity – he hesitated to accept.  A FAMOUS PREACHER After ordination he became a famous preacher and defender of the faith. He received St Augustine into the Church. He fought paganism, protected the Church against the political power; his writings on ethics and ascetics, his letters and sermons, his instructions to catechumens – all reveal a Christian bishop of great faith and energy. PRAYER: Lord, you made Saint Ambrose an outstanding teacher of the Catholic faith and gave him the courage of an apostle.
