SAINT CRISPIN, MARTYR OF MILAN - 6 MAY

  ALL SAINTS CELEBRATED IN MAY Saints celebrated on the 6th of May WELCOME! SAINT CRISPIN, MARTYR OF MILAN Saint Crispin  (Crispinus) , a third century martyr of Milan, was executed by the pagan government authorities for being a Christian. He suffered along with  Saint Victor . SAINT CRISPIN, MARTYR - 12 APRIL

SAINT CRISPIN, MARTYR Saint Crispin was killed for the Christian faith along with a large group of holy men and women, headed by  Saint Quartus . The Roman Martyrology states:  "At Ecija, in Spain, the blessed bishop Crispinus, who obtained the glory of martyrdom by decapitation." SS. CRISPIN AND CRISPINIAN, MARTYRS - 25 OCTOBER

  ALL SAINTS CELEBRATED IN OCTOBER Saints celebrated on the 25th of October WELCOME! SAINTS CRISPIN AND CRISPINIAN, MARTYRS  These two glorious martyrs came from Rome to preach the faith in Gaul towards the middle of the third century, together with Saint Quintin and others.  Fixing their residence at Soissons, in imitation of Saint Paul they instructed many in the faith of Christ, which they preached publicly in the day, at seasonable times; and, in imitation of Saint Paul, worked with their hands in the night, making shoes, though they are said to have been nobly born, and brothers. The infidels listened to their instructions, and were astonished at the example of their lives, especially of their charity, disinterestedness, heavenly piety, and contempt of glory and all earthly things: and the effect was the conversion of many to the Christian faith.   ALL SAINTS CELEBRATED IN JANUARY Saints celebrated on the 7th of January Prayer to the Angels and the Saints Heavenly Father, in praising Your Angels and Saints we praise Your glory, for by honouring them we honour You, their Creator. Their splendour shows us Your greatness, which infinitely surpasses that of all creation. In Your loving providence, You saw fit to send Your Angels to watch over us. Grant that we may always be under their protection and one day enjoy their company in heaven. Heavenly Father, You are glorified in Your Saints, for their glory is the crowning of Your gifts. You provide an example for us by their lives on earth, You give us their friendship by our communion with them, You grant us strength and protection through their prayer for the Church, and You spur us on to victory over evil and the prize of eternal glory by this great company of witnesses.
