SAINT GAVIN, MARTYR OF SARDINIA Saint Gavin ( Gavinus ), commemorated on October 25, was a martyr near Porto Torres. He is venerated especially in Ballao on the island of Sardinia. However, he may be identical to Saint Gabinus . He may perhaps have been a brother of the aforementioned saint , though certainly distinct from her.
