ALL SAINTS CELEBRATED IN FEBRUARY Saints celebrated on the 21st of February WELCOME! BLESSED FRANCIS OF ABERDEEN, RELIGIOUS AND MARTYR Blessed Francis (Franciscus), commemorated on February 21, was a monk of the Monastery of the Holy Trinity in Aberdeen in Scotland. While the monastery was being plundered, Francis was hurled down the stairs upside down by the heretics, whereby he suffered such injuries that his brains burst out of his head and he subsequently gave up the ghost. Although a "blessed," he never seems to have been declared a martyr in the ecclesiastical sense.
