ALL SAINTS CELEBRATED IN AUGUST Saints celebrated on the 28th of August WELCOME ! SAINT AUGUSTINE OF HIPPO, BISHOP AND DOCTOR OF THE CHURCH ⬅️ Doctors of the Church - Complete List ➡️ The Conversion of Saint Augustine Born at Thagaste in North Africa in 354, Saint Augustine was a brilliant young man whose early life was wild and unsettled. He was converted by the prayers of his mother, and baptised by Saint Ambrose , bishop of Milan, in 387. He returned to Africa, and lived an ascetic life. He became Bishop of Hippo. PRAYER:  Lord, renew in your Church the spirit you gave Saint Augustine. Filled with this spirit, may we thirst for you alone as the fountain of wisdom and seek you as the source of eternal love. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen. ➡️...
