SAINT ERMENGYTH, VIRGIN - 30 JULY

  ALL SAINTS CELEBRATED IN JULY Saints celebrated on the 30th of July SAINT ERMENGYTH, VIRGIN Saint Ermengyth (Ermengitha), a daughter of  Ermenred (Klito), and a niece of King Ercombert of Kent, took the veil at the monastery of Minstrey on the Isle of Thanet, which had been founded by her sister Ermenburgis . Saint Mildraudis, her niece,  was the second abbess there. Ermengyth died at the end of the 7th century. She used to be venerated in England. (Mg.)
