SAINT JOHN THE ISAURIAN - 11 APRIL

  ALL SAINTS CELEBRATED IN APRIL Saints celebrated on the 11th of April SAINT JOHN THE ISAURIAN Saint John was a disciple of St Gregory Decapolita and friend of  St Joseph the Hymnographer  (April 3). He died in Constantinople around the year 850. Migne * (II. 74) calls him l'Isaurien, which means "the Isaurian."  St John the Isaurian is also commemorated on April 18.
