SAINT FELICIA, VIRGIN AND MARTYR OF CAGLIARI Encyclopedia of Saints Saint Felicia (February 5), a virgin and martyr of Cagliari ( Caralis, Calaris ) in Sardinia, was allegedly executed at the age of eight. Her body was rediscovered in 1627.   The name Felicia, as well as the names Felicianus , Felician , etc., derive from the Latin felix , meaning happy, blessed. (I. 592).
