  ALL SAINTS CELEBRATED IN MAY Saints celebrated on the 16th of May WELCOME! SAINT DOMNOLUS, BISHOP OF LE MANS Saint Domnolus  ( May 16 ; alternatively December 1 ), a Bishop of Le Mans (Cenomanensis) in France whose place of origin is unknown, was of noble parentage. According to  Butler *, he was the brother of Saint Audoin . He was consecrated bishop and arrived in Le Mans, where he soon had to assume leadership of the diocese. He built several monasteries and other structures, performed many miracles, was a close friend of the holy Bishop Germanus of Paris , and finally died in the year 581 after holding the episcopal office for 47 years. His body, originally buried in the church of Saints Vincent and Lawrence, was subsequently translated several times; he should not be confused with Saint Dosmus  - about whom few records survive.   ALL SAINTS CELEBRATED IN MAY Saints celebrated on the 16th of May WELCOME! SAINT PEREGRINE, BISHOP OF AUXERRE Saint Petegrine (Peregrinus) is considered the first bishop of Auxerre. In A.D. 260, he is said to have been sent to Gaul by  Pope Sixtus II to preach the Gospel there. The priest Saint Marsus, a deacon named Arcodemus, and a subdeacon called  Jovinian accompanied him. The holy bishop sowed with tears and persecution, but his martyrdom under the Emperor Diocletian in 304 he bore for Christ with joy and exultation. His body was buried at Baugé in Auxerrois [Bouhy] where he had been killed for his faith.  It is believed that his relics came to Saint Denis near Paris at a later stage; others claim that he rested at Saint Peter in Rome or at Terni in Umbria.
