ALL SAINTS CELEBRATED IN JULY Saints celebrated on the 8th of July FIFTY HOLY SOLDIERS OF PORTO Today, we also commemorate The Fifty Holy Soldiers of Porto. The Roman Martyrology states: "At Porto, fifty holy soldiers, martyrs, who were led to the faith by the martyrdom of Saint Bonosa, and baptised by the blessed pope Felix. They were put to death in the persecution of Aurelian." PRAYER: Grant, we beseech you, almighty God, that the venerable feast of The Fifty Holy Soldiers of Porto may increase our devotion and promote our salvation. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen.
