SAINT NICOPHORUS AND COMPANIONS, MARTYRS Today, we also commemorate the martyrs Nicophorus, Diodorus (Dioscurus), Papias , Maccaris (Macarius), Tella (Tellas), Felix, Cajus, Enuclus, Januarius, Quinquianus, Mansuetus, Hermes, Betha (Zethas), Donatus, Servilia (Servilianus), Veneria, Basilia, Januaria, Stercola, Silvana, Maninlia (Marnintia), and Rufunia. According to the Greek records , the three first-named (Tan. II. 1024) suffered martyrdom at Corinth, and were joined by the three companions Victorinus, Victor, Claudius and Serapion. Canisius * states that Nicophorus died in Rome during the reign of Diocletian. They are not listed in the Roman Martyrology* . These holy martyrs are also commemorated on January 30 .
