  ALL SAINTS CELEBRATED IN NOVEMBER Saints celebrated on the 14th of September   WELCOME! SAINT HYPATIUS, BISHOP AND MARTYR Saint Hypatius, bishop and martyr of Gangra in Paphlagonia, is commemorated today. He was stoned to death by the Arians on his return from the Council of Nicea (in 325).  ONE OF THE MOST EXCELLENT FIGHTERS AGAINST THE ARIAN ERRORS He was certainly one of the most excellent fighters against the Arian errors. The Greeks commemorate him on February 14 and 25, as well as June 1;  Elenchus * names Saint Hypatius on November 30. The  Roman Martyrology  lists him on November 14. BLESSED GABRIEL OF FERETTI, PRIEST AND RELIGIOUS  Blessed  Gabriel of Feretti was born in Ancona, and was raised by noble Christian parents.  At a very young age he entered the Order of  Saint Francis , and there he excelled particularly in humility and self-denial.  HUMILITY AND SELF- DENIAL Because of his merits, he was made superior over the  Franciscans  of the province of Ancona.  With prudence and wisdom he led his brothers; he extended the order in the surrounding area, founded several monasteries, and died at Ancona at a ripe old age on November 12, 1456 in the odour of sanctity. His feast is celebrated on November 14. SAINT LAURENCE O'TOOLE, ARCHBISHOP OF DUBLIN, CONFESSOR Saint Laurence was youngest son to Maurice O’Toole, a rich and powerful prince in Leinster, whose ancestors for many ages had been princes of the territories of Hy-Murray, and Hy-Mal, in the vicinity of Dublin.
