SAINT BODINUS, BISHOP OF TROYES  Saint Bodinus (Bobinus), bishop of Troyes, was a native of Guienne, but went to Troyes, where he lived in the monastery of Saint Frodobert , called Moulier-la-Celle and was professed a monk.  HE MADE GREAT CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE MONASTERY After the death of the Bishop of Troyes, he was elected his successor. He rebuilt the church of his monastery, embellished the tomb of the first abbot, St Frodobert, and made a great contribution to the monastery, which is why it was also known as Bobinzell, named after him. According to some, he died around the year 790, according to others around 800. SAINT SABINA OF MILAN, WIDOW   Saint Sabina (Savina) was a noble matron descended of the Tresseni family of Lodi Vecchio (Laus Pompeja); the Bollandists refer to her as vidua laudensis. HER CORPORAL WORKS OF MERCY At the time of Maximian's persecution she visited the holy martyrs in their prisons and gave them help and comfort. She buried the bodies of martyred Christians, among others those of Saints Felix and Nabor, which were brought from Lodi to Milan.  HER HOLY DEATH She devoted herself entirely to prayer, fasting, and vigils, especially in the Coemeterium of St Caius. She was praying at the tombs of the holy martyrs when she died a happy and holy death in A.D. 311.  A RELIC In 1571, St Charles Borromeo found her sacred body intact in the Church of St Nabor.
