SAINT ODILIA, SISTER OF SAINT DORIA
Saint Odilia (October 21), a virgin and daughter of Eulalia, a sister of Saint Doria¹, was one of the companions of Saint Ursula. (IX. 206)

¹It is an undoubted fact that a large group of virgins (11,000 must be regarded as a round number and must not be overestimated) suffered martyrdom at Cologne by heathen barbarians. There is evidence that the veneration of these holy virgin martyrs existed there as early as the 5th century.
