The Roman Martyrology states: "In Persia, the holy martyrs Acindynus, Pegasius, Aphtonius, Elpidephorus and Anempodistus, with their numerous companions." PRAYER: Grant, we beseech you, almighty God, that the venerable feast of Saints Acindynus, Pegasius, Aphtonius, Elpidephorus Anempodistus, and Companions may increase our devotion and promote our salvation.
