  ALL SAINTS CELEBRATED IN MAY Saints celebrated on the 5th of May SAINT JUDITH OF KULMSEE, WIDOW Saint Judith was a widow who lived as a hermitess at Kulmsee (Chelmzo) in Prussia. She died in A.D. 1264. In the " Seraphic Starry Heaven" * and in the calendar of the Third Order* she is listed as Judith on April 29. She also occurs as Juditha and Judittha; the Prussians call her Otta , and she is mentioned by the Bollandists *, where she is listed among the Praetermissi on May 28 (VI. 732) , and in the appendix to May 5 as St Jutta. ALL SAINTS CELEBRATED IN JUNE Saints celebrated on the 29th of June WELCOME! SAINT SALOME AND SAINT JUDITH OF NIEDERALTAICH Salome was a  9th century saint who is mentioned with Judith, a widow, whom she was related to. They may have been cousins, or Judith the aunt of Salome. Their existence at the time is proven, but the details are shrouded in uncertainty.  SHE CAME TO A STOP IN BAVARIA They are said to have been of Anglo-Saxon royal lineage. Salome was struck with temporary blindness when returning from a pilgrimage to the Holy Land and therefore came to a stop in Bavaria, South Germany.  JUDITH JOINED HER FROM ENGLAND After recovering, she stayed in Bavaria, and Judith joined her from England. They lived for a long time as anchoresses under Abbot Walther in Oberaltaich-upon-Danube. Their relics of both were buried near the altar of Saint Giles.
