  ALL SAINTS CELEBRATED IN JUNE Saints celebrated on the 3rd of June WELCOME! ROBERT BRIÇONNET, ARCHBISHOP OF REIMS Cathedral of Reims  Robert, Archbishop of Reims, France, was the fifth son of Jean Briçonnet, and an elder brother of Cardinal Guillaume . He owed to the credit which Guillaume had with Charles VIII his rapid elevation to public offices and dignities. He was named Canon of Saint-Aignan at Orleans, Abbot of the rich Abbey of Saint-Vaast at Arras, and in 1493 he was raised to the archiepiscopal See of Reims. Charles appointed him President of the Superior Tribunal of Finances, and Chancellor of France. He enjoyed this new dignity for only twenty-two months before his death. He showed himself, as did his brothers and nephews, a patron of men of letters. Robert died in Moulins on June 3, 1497.  From Catholic Encyclopedia, 1913

  ALL SAINTS CELEBRATED IN JUNE Saints celebrated on the 3rd of June WELCOME! SAINT AWTEL, MONK Saint Awtel (Mar Awtel), born around A.D. 250, is particularly venerated among the Eastern Churches including the  Maronite  Church.   Legend relates that, by his prayers and supplications, he delivered his fellow passengers during a severe storm while travelling in a boat.  He is the patron saint of Kfarsghab, Lebanon.  The only church dedicated to him is Saint Awtel's Church in Kfarsghab. This holy man died in A.D. 327 in Lucia, Turkey, in which city he had also been born. His feast day is celebrated also on August 27. SAINT AUDITUS OF BRAGA Saint Auditus (the Portuguese pronunciation is "Ouvido" and therefore this Saint is also called Ovidius ), was a native of Braga (Bracara) in Portugal and posterity mistakenly took him for a bishop there - he is also occasionally mixed up with Saint Avitus of Leon. Nothing else is known about Auditus than that his mortal remains were solemnly placed in a new container by Archbishop Didacus de Sousa in 1527, and that deaf people regained their hearing through this saint's intercession.
