ALL SAINTS CELEBRATED IN MAY Saints celebrated on the 23rd of May WELCOME! PAUL AND PAUL, FRANCISCANS OF ASSISI Paul and Paul (Paulus) were two devout Franciscans from Assisi in Umbria. One of them was a priest and very popular as a preacher. Almost all of Italy, but especially the cities of Perugia and Padua, witnessed his zeal and holy life. The other was a humble lay brother, withdrawn into himself, to whom God had made known his last hour, which he awaited and foretold with blessed hope.
