ALL SAINTS CELEBRATED IN OCTOBER Saints celebrated on the 10th of October HUGH, BISHOP OF AUXERRE Hugh (Hugo), of Macon (Matisconensis), [ Hugues de Mâcon], bi shop of Auxerre, died about the year 1151 at Pontigny. Migne * lists him among the "blessed," as does Henriquez *. Bucelin * calls him "saint", but Saussayus * calls him "pious," since he never enjoyed public veneration. Hugh is also remembered on January 21.
