The Roman Martyrology states: "At Melitine, in Armenia, the martyrdom of the Saints Hieron, Meander, Hesychius, and thirty others, who were crowned in the persecution of Diocletian, under the governor Lysias." PRAYER: Grant, we beseech you, almighty God, that the venerable feast of Saints Hieron, Meander, Hesychius, and Companions may increase our devotion and promote our salvation.
