Saints celebrated on the 19th of May
SAINT PUDENTIANA, VIRGIN
Today, we also commemorate Saint Pudentiana. The Roman Martyrology states:
"At Rome, the saintly virgin Pudentiana, who, after numberless tribulations, after burying with great respect many martyrs, and distributing all her goods to the poor for Christ’s sake, departed from this world to go to heaven."
PRAYER:
Grant, we beseech you, almighty God, that the venerable feast of Saint Pudentiana may increase our devotion and promote our salvation. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen.
