ST FAUSTUS, BISHOP OF TARBES - 28 SEPTEMBER

  ALL SAINTS CELEBRATED IN SEPTEMBER Saints celebrated on the 28th of September WELCOME! SAINT FAUSTUS, BISHOP OF TARBES Saint Faustus, who is commemorated on September 28, was Bishop of Tarbes¹ ( Castrum Bigorrense, Tarba ) in Gascony. Because of his faithful service in his office, he was exiled for some time, but was later allowed to resume his episcopal see. Saint Licerius [Lizier] , later Bishop of  Conserans   ( Conseranum ) in Gascony, was one of his disciples. Saint Faustus may have died toward the end of the fifth century. (VII. 715).
