ALL SAINTS CELEBRATED IN MAY Saints celebrated on the 30th of May WELCOME! IDDA OF WETZIKON, PRIORESS Idda of Wetzikon ( Idda de Wetzikon ) (May 30), born to pious noble parents, first married a count and, after his death, entered the monastery of Töß . She soon distinguished herself in all monastic virtues and was therefore made to assume the office of prioress - against her will. As her final hour approached, another pious nun saw a bright star shining before Idda, whereupon she died. The year of her death is not easily determined. Bucelin *, according to Burgener *, writes that she went to her eternal reward in the year 1332. (VII. 234).
