  ALL SAINTS CELEBRATED IN JUNE Saints celebrated on the 17th of June WELCOME! SAINT QUIRIACUS AND 272 COMPANIONS During the reign of the emperor Diocletian, Saints Quiriacus, the tribune Blastus, Diogenes, Aena, Nicander, Dorostolus, Eusicius, Aquila, Cantianus and 262 others; also Longinus and the priest John, suffered martyrdom in Rome. By the way, there are many varieties regarding these names. The Roman Martyrology * lists only  262 martyrs  [on March 25 ] without providing any names .   SAINTS CELEBRATED IN NOVEMBER Saints celebrated on the 4th of November SAINTS NICANDER AND HERMAS, MARTYRS Today, we also commemorate Saints Nicander and Hermas. The Roman Martyrology states:  "At Myra, in Lycia, the holy martyrs Nicander, bishop, and Hermas, priest, under the governor Libanius." PRAYER: Grant, we beseech you, almighty God, that the venerable feast of Saints Nicander and Hermas may increase our devotion and promote our salvation. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen.
