Saints celebrated on the 17th of June
During the reign of the emperor Diocletian, Saints Quiriacus, the tribune Blastus, Diogenes, Aena, Nicander, Dorostolus, Eusicius, Aquila, Cantianus and 262 others; also Longinus and the priest John, suffered martyrdom in Rome. By the way, there are many varieties regarding these names. The Roman Martyrology* lists only 262 martyrs [on March 25] without providing any names. (III. 285)
