SAINT EUSTASIUS, MARTYR OF NICOMEDIA
The name Eustasius is of Greek origin; it means fixed, constant.
During the reign of Diocletian, Saint Eustasius was put to death for the sake of the Christian faith at Nicomedia in Bithynia. (II. 350)
