SAINT PAPIAS, MARTYR OF DYRRACHIUM
Saint Papias [Papius] was a martyr at Dyrrachium on the Adriatic Sea. This spot, called Epidamnos by the Greeks, is known as Durazzo today. Saint Papias was a companion of Saint Peregrine (II. 457).
