Saint Passarion (Pasarion), abbot in Jerusalem and choir bishop in Palestine, was (cf. Boll. Jan. II. 308) the teacher of Saint Euthymius, who dwelt in his monastery. Passarion flourished in the first half of the fifth century. He is also called Passarion the Great (i.c. 1313). Despite extensive research, his memorial day cannot be ascertained. It is therefore to be assumed that his veneration has ceased for the time being.
