SAINT FELICIA, VIRGIN AND MARTYR OF CAGLIARI
Saint Felicia (February 5), a virgin and martyr of Cagliari (Caralis, Calaris) in Sardinia, was allegedly executed at the age of eight. Her body was rediscovered in 1627.
The name Felicia, as well as the names Felicianus, Felician, etc., derive from the Latin felix, meaning happy, blessed. (I. 592).
