SAINT GERMELINA AND COMPANIONS, MARTYRS OF NICOMEDIA

Saint Germelina, a martyr, suffered with several others in Nicomedia. Her companions' names are: Laetissima, Felicia, Germana, Felix, Evanthia, Victorinus, Nicephorus, Dioscorus, Papias, Serapion, John (Johannes), and Julius. (III. 488)

Grant to your Church, we beseech you, O Lord, through the intercession of Saint Germelina and Companions, your holy martyrs, not to think high-mindedly, but to grow in humility pleasing to you; that, despising what is base, she may with unbounded love diligently do whatever is right. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen.
