ALL SAINTS CELEBRATED IN NOVEMBER
Saints celebrated on the 2nd of November
SAINT PRINCIPIA, VIRGIN
Principia, a Roman maiden, is listed in [the hagiography source of] Piazza, where she bears the title "saint". She was a disciple of St Marcella.
When Alaric sacked Rome, Marcella and Principia were taken to St Paul's Church for safety, where both remained unmolested.
Principia lived in voluntary poverty, and died in such great holiness that her memory was continually honoured at St Alexine's Church in Rome.
Principia is also commemorated on January 31 and May 11.
