In the same source, the name appears once more on March 8 with the location: Daire (Derry) and also on May 3, further on March 27, mentioning the place: Maighi Eo (Mayo). On May 13 and June 7, he occurs yet again, and on May 19 with the detail: Chille Comairthe . He may well be the same person as Saint Mochua. Colgan * reckons he may be St Dachonnas. According to Kelly* (p. 90) St Mochonna took part in the first great synod of the Irish Church at Flan Febhla in the year 696 and lived until the year 705.
