The Roman Martyrology states: "At Como, the passion of the holy martyrs Carpophorus, Exanthus, Cassius, Severinus, Secundus and Licinius, who were beheaded for the confession of Christ." PRAYER: Grant, we beseech you, almighty God, that the venerable feast of Saints Carpophorus, Exanthus, Cassius, Severinus, Secundus and Licinius may increase our devotion and promote our salvation.
