Saints celebrated on the 17th of June
SAINT ISAURUS AND COMPANIONS, MARTYRS
Today, we also commemorate Saint Isaurus and Companions. The Roman Martyrology states:
"At Apollonia, in Macedonia, the holy martyrs Isaurus, deacon, Innocent, Felix, Jeremias, and Peregrinus, natives of Athens, who were tortured in different manners by the tribune Tripontius, and finally decapitated."
PRAYER:
Grant, we beseech you, almighty God, that the venerable feast of Saints Isaurus, Innocent, Felix, Jeremias, and Peregrinus may increase our devotion and promote our salvation. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen.
