ALL SAINTS CELEBRATED IN MARCH Saints celebrated on the 31st of March SAINT MELLA, ABBESS ⬅️ Litany of the Irish Saints Saint Mella was a devout Irish lady and " mother of St Cannochus and Tigernachus, " as the Mart. Taml .* asserts. She died around A.D. 788. According to some sources (Kelly, p. 110) she was abbess at Doirmelle near Lough Melon in County Leitrim, and this place is named after her.
