  ALL SAINTS CELEBRATED IN AUGUST Saints celebrated on the 17th of August SAINT MYRON, PRIEST AND MARTYR Today, we also commemorate Saint Myron. The Roman Martyrology states:  "In Achaia, Saint Myron, priest and martyr, who was beheaded at Cyzicum, after undergoing many torments, in the time of the emperor Decius and the governor Antipater." PRAYER: Grant, we beseech you, almighty God, that the venerable feast of Saint Myron may increase our devotion and promote our salvation. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen.
