ALL SAINTS CELEBRATED IN AUGUST Saints celebrated on the 20th of August SAINT PORPHYRY, CONFESSOR Today, we also commemorate Saint Porphyry. The Roman Martyrology states: "At Rome, blessed Porphyry, a man of God, who instructed the holy martyr Agapitus in the faith and doctrine of Christ." PRAYER: Grant, we beseech you, almighty God, that the venerable feast of Saint Porphyry may increase our devotion and promote our salvation. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen.
