ALL SAINTS CELEBRATED IN JANUARY Saints celebrated on the 7th of January SAINT SENATOR, BISHOP OF VERONA A page of one of Fortunatus Hueber's Saints' books, "Stammenbuch..." (1693) This holy bishop of Verona was successor to Proculus and predecessor of Probus. The time of his episcopal activity is not certain. Some put it in the time of the emperors Diocletian and Maximian, others before the year 236 in the reign of the emperor Maximinus. Saint Senator was a man distinguished by all episcopal virtues. After having presided over his church for some years for the greatest benefit of the people entrusted to his care, he died on January 7. His mortal remains rest in Saint Stephen's Church.
