SAINT VALERIAN, BISHOP AND CONFESSOR

Saint Valerian (Valerianus) was a bishop and confessor in Africa, who died in exile. In the Elenchus*, however, he is called a martyr. This saint is the bishop in Africa connected to St Quodvultdeus.
