Saints celebrated on the 7th of November
SAINT AMARANTHUS, MARTYR
Today, we also commemorate Saint Amaranthus. The Roman Martyrology states:
"The same day, Saint Amaranthus, martyr, who was buried in the city of Albi, after the termination of combats faithfully sustained, but lives in eternal glory."
PRAYER:
Grant, we beseech you, almighty God, that the venerable feast of Saint Amaranthus may increase our devotion and promote our salvation. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen.
