SAINT FAUSTUS, DEACON AND MARTYR - 19 NOVEMBER

ALL SAINTS CELEBRATED IN NOVEMBER

Saints celebrated on the 19th of November

SAINT FAUSTUS, DEACON AND MARTYR

Today, we also commemorate Saint Faustus. The Roman Martyrology states:

"The same day, Saint Faustus, deacon of Alexandria, who was first banished with Saint Dionysius, in the persecution of Valerian; later, in the persecution of Diocletian, being far advanced in age, he consummated his martyrdom by the sword."

PRAYER:

Grant, we beseech you, almighty God, that the venerable feast of Saint Faustus may increase our devotion and promote our salvation. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen.
