Saints celebrated on the 18th of October
SAINT TRYPHONIA, WIDOW
Today, we also commemorate Saint Tryphonia. The Roman Martyrology states:
"At Rome, Saint Tryphonia, at one time wife of the Caesar Decius. She was buried in a crypt, near Saint Hippolytus."
PRAYER:
Grant, we beseech you, almighty God, that the venerable feast of Saint Tryphonia may increase our devotion and promote our salvation. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen.
