The Roman Martyrology states:  "At Rome, on the Latin road, the holy martyrs Symphronius, Olympius, Theodulus, and Exuperia , who (as we read in the Acts of pope Saint Stephen) were burnt alive, and thus obtained the palm of martyrdom."
