Saints celebrated on the 26th of July
SAINT SYMPHRONIUS AND COMPANIONS, MARTYRS
Today, we also commemorate Saint Symphronius and Companions. The Roman Martyrology states:
"At Rome, on the Latin road, the holy martyrs Symphronius, Olympius, Theodulus, and Exuperia, who (as we read in the Acts of pope Saint Stephen) were burnt alive, and thus obtained the palm of martyrdom."
PRAYER:
Grant, we beseech you, almighty God, that the venerable feast of Saints Symphronius, Olympius, Theodulus, and Exuperia may increase our devotion and promote our salvation. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen.
